How do I know it's working?
There are several causes of bad taste in tap water. Hardness of water, which is the concentrated amount of dissolved minerals like calcium or magnesium, is one of them. The higher the concentration of these elements, the harder the water.
Chlorine also directly affects the bad taste of our tap water. Other causes may be an excess of calcium or potassium in the water.
Our filters eliminate these substances, so the water that comes out of our tap will be clean, clear, and good-tasting. Chlorine in shower water often dries out skin and hair. For people with sensitive skin, it can also cause rashes. The filter removes most of the chlorine, so skin and hair will soften over time.
In addition, the filter will reduce limescale formation on tiles and glass surfaces. Typically, you will notice this within a few weeks.

Why do I have to change the refill every 6 months?
The capacity of ShowerPro Diamond is about 8,000-12,000 liters (depending on water quality). After this time, the filter material is exhausted and can no longer absorb chlorine and other substances.
In addition, the replacements are made of materials of organic origin which, after a prolonged period of use, can lead to the proliferation of bacteria. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and can contaminate the water. This is a normal situation with any refill made of organic substances, regardless of the number of people in the household or whether the filter has not been used for some time.
Please note that the estimated time of duration may also vary depending on the number of users in the household.
Does the ShowerPro Diamond need to be cleaned?
Cleaning your filter is not strictly necessary. If you would like to clean it or need to clean it due to scale build-up around the product, you can use water and vinegar. Please note that the refill is not washable, so you will need to remove it before cleaning the outside of your filter.
