Frequently asked questions about the PitcherPro filter jug
Will it fit in my fridge?
The standard size of a fridge in Europe is about 110 mm, but it can range from 100 to 120 mm. PitcherPro measures approximately 108 x 112 mm. The standard Brita is 110 mm wide.
What does instant filtration mean?
Just by filling the jug with water from the tap you will have water ready to drink thanks to the tube-shaped air channel for better filtering, without waiting. Filter immediately while you pour yourself a glass of water!
How to put in a new refill?
Remove the lid and unscrew the refill from the top. Insert a new refill and screw it back into place. Fill the water jug and run water through the filter before using it for the first time.
Why is it good to increase the alkalinity of water to make it taste good?
The refill contains alkaline balls. These balls contain alkaline minerals that increase the pH (between 0.5 and 1) and cause rust in the water to act as an antioxidant (ORP). The more negative the ORP value, the more antioxidant the water is and therefore the less rusty it will taste.
