What is crowdfunding and why is TAPP 2 crowdfunding?

“TAPP 2 looks amazing but I don’t understand why I have to pre-order it on a crowdfunding page?” - Anonymous customer In the past 5 years, crowdfunding pages such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo have become synonymous with innovative technology. Well known examples include Occulus VR, Pebble watch, Coolest Cooler and Amabrush. Each one of them had worked on the technology for years but used crowdfunding to launch to a community of people that embrace new solutions to solve problems in our day-to-day life’s. Tech for social good is a big category. Crowdfunding helps companies validate ideas, solutions, technology and market communication early on. More importantly though, it gives consumers early and highly discounted access to new products and services before everyone else. It also helps startups get sufficient order volumes early on to allow them to compete with well established businesses with deep pockets.

Why is TAPP crowdfunding?

What is crowdfunding and why is TAPP 2 crowdfunding? The purpose of TAPP Water is to promote healthy drinking of tap water through education, products and services and thereby reduce plastic pollution and CO2. TAPP 2 is our most exciting solution so far as it’s entirely based on customer needs and input. Biodegradable cartridges, great design, connected and even better tasting and cleaner water. To give back to the community that has helped us until now we therefore give exclusive early access to the new product before everyone else. Indiegogo provides us with a fantastic platform to do this. Over the next couple of weeks we will build up the momentum for launch through our partners, media, sharing and advertising support. Although we have funding for the production of TAPP 2, your preorder will help us achieve bigger volumes and lower cost up front. And when we ship early next year our contributors will be part of the success. We hope that you will be part of our journey! Support and learn more about our crowdfunding campaign here.
