At Tappwater we believe that one of the best ways to solve the problem of pollution caused by plastic is by collaborating with other organizations that have the same purpose as us.

    Plastic Oceans is a non-profit organization with the goal of fostering sustainable communities around the world by acting locally to create global change through four key pillars: education, activism, advocacy and science.

    Gravity Wave is a social enterprise that cleans our seas and oceans. With local fishermen, we contribute to removing plastic from the Mediterranean Sea.

  • Tree Nation logo

    Tree-nation is a platform to reforest the world and fight against climate change. With them we offset all the CO2 we generate.

Making 1 kg of plastic requires around 2,000 litres of water. That's an enormous amount! Especially when you consider that only 0.5% of the world's water is available to us to meet both all our needs and all those of the ecosystem.

FEWER CO2 EMISSIONS

Did you know that the environmental impact of a three-person household's bottled water consumption over a year is estimated to be equivalent to 274 kg of carbon emissions? [4]

Producing a kilogram of new plastic generates around 3.5 kg of CO2. For example, over the course of a year a 3-person household generates approximately 274 kg of carbon emissions from bottled water consumption alone. With TAPP Water that figure is cut to just 3 kg. Why did we embark on our mission?

In 2023 Tappwater became part of Bluewater Group headquartered in Sweden. As part of Bluewater we offer a full range of water filtration solutions ranging from faucet filters, filter pitcher's and under the sink filters to professional solutions for hotels and restaurants. We have offices in Stockholm (Sweden), Denver,(USA), Capetown (South Africa), London (UK), Barcelona (Spain) and Shenzhen (China).
