Calcium Sulfite
CaSO3 shower filter balls can remove 90% of chlorine from shower water with a surface time of as little as 0.8 seconds. This works in combination with KDF-55.
Mineral balls (Crystal quartz)
Crystal quartz mineral balls with negative ion mineralisation are claimed to provide smoother skin, reduce oil secretion and increase cell viability. Although there is some evidence that it works there is no independently verified research.
Limescale inhibitor
Our proprietary formula that reduces limescale by 80% by inhibiting the limescale from forming. Note: It does not reduce water hardness or TDS.

How often do I need to change the refill cartridges of my shower filter?
Many shower filters claim to last 6 months or longer. Based on our testing of the average shower water consumption in Europe the ShowerPro refills typically last 3-6 months. If you are uncertain then use a simple chlorine test strip to test if the filter still works.
What is the capacity of ShowerPro refills?
The capacity of each refill is about 20,000 liters but depends on the water quality. Based on a daily shower of 100 L each refill will last up to 6 months.
