Filtration and substances
Water quality and filtration efficiency can only be guaranteed up to a capacity of use equivalent to 6 months in a household of 1-2 people. If you use the refill beyond this time, the efficiency of the filtering of substances may decrease. In addition, you should bear in mind that the components of the refill are of organic origin so that, after a prolonged period of use, they may give rise to bacterial growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know it's working?
There are several causes of dryness of your skin after showering. One of them may be water hardness, which is the concentrated amount of dissolved minerals such as chlorine. The higher the concentration of these elements, the greater the hardness. ShowerPro filters out chlorine and 70+ substances, so over time you will notice improvement in your skin and hair.
You will also see the limescale marks on the screen diminish, which is another clear indicator that your filter is working.
ShowerPro will make your shower water clean, clear and free of these substances.
Why do I have to change the refill every 6 months?
The capacity of ShowerPro is about 8,000-12,000 liters (depending on water quality). After this the filter material will be used up and cannot absorb the chlorine and other substances anymore.
In addition to this the refills are made of materials of organic origin that after a prolonged period of use, can give rise to the proliferation of bacteria. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and can contaminate the water. This is a normal situation with any refill made of organic substances, regardless of how many of you are at home or whether the filter has not been used for of some time.
Does ShowerPro need to be cleaned?
Cleaning your filter is not strictly necessary. If you would like to clean it or need to clean it due to scale build-up around the product, you can use water and vinegar. Please note that the refill is not washable, so you will need to remove it before cleaning the outside of your filter.
Why do I have to change it every 6 months even if I don't use it much?
The refill is made of carbon, a material of organic origin that can be a breeding ground for microorganisms, which over time can lead to the proliferation of bacteria. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and can contaminate the water. This is a normal situation with activated carbon filters, regardless of how many of you are at home, or if the filter has not been used for some time.
